A phobia (from the Greek "Phobos" meaning Fear), is an irrational, intense, persistent fear of certain situations, objects, activities, or persons. The main symptom of this disorder is the excessive, unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. When the fear is beyond one's control, or if the fear is interfering with daily life, then a diagnosis under one of the anxiety disorders can be made. The fear response is a natural response to avoid perceived danger; if it is limiting your life it is time to overcome your fear and we can help you.

How Hypnotherapy in the West Midlands can help you

Effectively the fast phobia cure re-educates the brain to feel comfortable with the subject or situation that caused the phobic response. It is simple and quick, as the name implies. We will use hypnosis to help you feel really relaxed and safe, then take you through the process. I know this may sound simple but that is why the fast phobia cure works! it didn't take much to create the fear and, done properly, it doesn't take much for the fast phobia cure to remove it. What Is Fear?

Fear is one of the most basic human emotions. It is programmed into the nervous system and works instinctively. From the time we're infants, we are equipped with the survival instincts necessary to respond with fear when we sense danger or feel unsafe.

Fear helps protect us. It makes us alert to danger and prepares us to deal with it. Feeling afraid is very natural -- and helpful -- in some situations. Fear can be a warning, a signal that cautions us to be careful.

Like all emotions, fear can be mild, medium, or intense, depending on the situation and the person. A feeling of fear can be brief or it can last longer. overcome your fear with the help of the West Midlands Hypnotherapy Centre
